Here a secret about me : I LOVE FOOD. So I figured I would talk to you about my visit to the 2011 Gypsy Picnic food festival at Auditorium Shores this weekend. It seemed like there were tens of thousands of people there, and some of the trailers did run out of food, within a few hours of opening. I got enough samples to fill up on the cheap, so I was pleased. I had to business to attend to so I didnt stay too long.

Hey Cupcake: Easily one of Austin's most recognizable trailers, these guys have earned their place in this town. These cakes will make you cry with soft, creamy. delicious goodness.
Chi-Lantro (Korean) BBQ: A very interesting mix of Texas and Korean BBQ. Everything I sampled at this place was so TASTY, I had to sneak back for more.
Gourdouah's Big. Fat. Donuts: I believe the name says it all... This donuts were BIG. FAT. And F*&^%$ Delicious. A Must try.

Will the Texans take the World Series This Time?
UPDATE: Rangers: 2, Cardinals: 2
Initially, I didn't want any talk about sports in this blog. The Texas Rangers deserve it however. They made it to the world series the second time in a row (last year being the first in Rangers history). We have an NFL CHAMPION team, 2 NBA CHAMPION teams,and now maybe its time for a MLB Champion team?

The Thug Retirement Plan (Nate Sanders Plan)
This post could also be called "Why I Hate Kathy Tovo".
I have a large bone to pic with the recent plants on the Austin City Council, who decided to call another vote on whether to award the family of a dead thug $750,000 dollars.. For those that didn't follow the news as it happened, Nathaniel Sanders II was shot by an APD officer during a struggle for a gun.
Just a while before this incident occurred Nate Sanders was arrested for robbing a disabled man at gun point at an ATM. Before that he was arrested for driving around downtown with an unregistered firearm and copious amounts of cocaine.
It should come as no shock that this "upstanding member" of society was shot after officers approached his car after hearing stories of an identical vehicle firing shots into the air. After a struggle for a gun, Nate Sanders was fatally shot. While, most of us cheered the thug community wept.
Then came the bad news. Officer Quintana had forgot to turn on his squad cars camera. The city council originally chose to disregard the family's suit. The election of Kathy Tovo brought around horrible change. In order to prove herself as "a friend of the black community", Mrs. Tovo stirred the pot and brought the Sanders issue back the the forefront. When the vote came back around she made sure to get it passed, and awarded the Sanders family $750,000 of your hard earned tax payer dollars.
This gave me the idea for my new "Thug Retirement Plan". Its stupidly simple. All you have to do is have a few children, neglect them horribly, and let the thug seed grow. Make sure to smoke crack near them every few days to instill its value in the gangster life.
Now just buy your thug a sweet pistol, sit back, and wait for the money. Either he robs a bank and you've made it big or he gets killed by the police and you've made it even bigger.
